A sunset over the ocean

Background

Hello! My name is Scott Eisenberg, and I am a second-year Computer Science major at California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo. I'm interested in becoming a software engineer and then pivoting into a sales engineer role, combining a strong technical foundation with communication, problem-solving, and client-facing work. I enjoy building impactful projects in areas like artificial intelligence and cybersecurity, and I'm especially drawn to roles where I can translate complex systems into clear, real-world value. I'm excited to continue developing both my technical skills and my ability to work with people through hands-on projects and collaborative experiences.

On campus, I am the Corporate Liaison for the Cal Poly Security Education Club, where I connect with 100+ professionals across 50+ companies, building relationships and coordinating opportunities that directly benefit our members. I also help plan and execute 25+ annual events, including technical talks, corporate partnerships, and Capture the Flag competitions, creating hands-on experiences for students to grow their skills in security. Acting as the spokesperson for the club has sharpened my professionalism, communication, and event-planning abilities while allowing me to advocate for student involvement in cybersecurity.

In my free time, I love going to the beach and surfing. I also enjoy hiking, spending time with friends, and listening to music.
